The fee for a portrait depends on the size of the work, the number of subjects, and the complexity of the background. 

An oil portrait typically requires from three to six months, a graphite drawing from two to three weeks.

The fee for a copy of a work of fine art depends largely on the size and complexity of the work.

One-half the fee is due upon the sketching and taking of photographs of the subject.  The remainder is due only once the client is perfectly satisfied with the final work.
